Pressed Flower Pins/Brooches:
All jewelry is handcrafted from flowers grown and pressed by Ruth Wales at her Casco, Maine home .
She also gathers non-endangered wildflowers for many of her pieces, especially the Queen Anne's Lace.
The flowers have to be so tiny that she picks individual flowers from a branch with tweezers and presses them
one by one to have them press perfectly. The flowers are painstakingly arranged on acid free art paper and then
sealed between micro-thin glass with a lead free silvered solder. Each pin back is individually signed by the artist.
These are all handcrafted one-of-a-kind and designs may vary slightly.
All oval pins measure 1" x 1.5" and the square pins are 1.25".
There is nobody anywhere in the world creating such unique pins!
