Pressed Flower Pendants/Necklaces
All jewelry is handcrafted from flowers grown and pressed by Ruth Wales at her Casco, Maine home .
She also gathers non-endangered wildflowers for many of her pieces.
The flowers have to be so tiny that she picks individual flowers from a branch with tweezers and presses them
one by one to have them press perfectly. For the very unusual reversible pendants, which have different flowers on each side,
the flowers are painstakingly arranged on acid free art paper and then sealed between micro-thin glass with a lead free silvered solder. The single sided pendants are sealed with clear resin within a Sterling Silver bezel cup. Both are very charming and would make any woman or young lady smile with pleasure!
