Welcome potential wholesale customers!
Many flowers are gathered in neighboring fields and woodlands
Each piece is handcrafted from REAL flowers
grown and pressed at Buttermilk Lane.
I also utilize many of Maine's beautiful wildflowers.
The flowers will hold their color for many years!
I use special pressing techniques and color some of the flowers that
tend to lose color prematurely.
Also, where the flowers are used in jewelry,
it will be worn and then put away in a jewelry box,
not exposed to sun's rays like sun catchers or picture frames,
which will lose color sooner.
The flowers are arranged on acid free art paper
using an neutral pH glue.
They are then sealed between micro-thin glass
and soldered using a lead free solder.
We have recently introduced a new line using
a clear resin coating versus the glass.
These pieces have a sterling silver bezel cup backing.
These are less intricate, and thus have a lower price point.
The jewelry in on a custom jewelry card stating "handcrafted in Maine"
and stating "made from REAL flowers".
You may also inquire about custom cards specially geared to your
unique needs.
